GENERAL CONDITIONS

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Costa Activa Rentals

 

These are our general conditions applicable to all reservations. However, if there is an exception, it will be indicated in the property details webpage. The reservation conditions depend on the rate selected in the reservation process. These conditions will govern the relations between Costa Activa Rentals, owner of this website and provider of the services offered on it, and the people who hire them (hereinafter, the CLIENT).

 

1) Terms of payment

 

Outstanding balance. The amount pending payment will be paid in cash or by credit card, upon arrival at the apartment (according to agreed conditions)

 

Refundable deposit. To cover any damage to the apartment.

 

2) All inclusive

 

The amount of the reservation includes taxes, end-of-stay cleaning as well as water, energy and telecommunications supplies.

 

Some air conditioners have an energy limiter, which works like a coin-operated timer for a symbolic price and in order to avoid abuse of energy in the property.

 

However, it is not included:

 

• The additional services that the client can hire.

 

• Entry to the apartment before the usual time (4:00 p.m.) and departure after the limit time (10:00 a.m.), as indicated in the Condition.

 

3) Cleaning

 

The price of the reservation includes a cleaning service at the end of the stay. Despite the existence of this service, the client is responsible for cleaning the apartment, removing the waste generated and returning it in reasonable conditions of cleanliness and order.

 

Number of guests

 

It is forbidden to accommodate a number of guests in the contracted apartment greater than that declared in the reservation, unless expressly authorized by Costa Activa Rentals and prior payment of the price increase.

 

4) Cancellation and modification of reservations

 

According to reservation conditions.

 

Unforeseen circumstances. In case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances (such as unplanned renovations in the building, floods, etc.) Costa Activa Rentals may assign the client a different apartment to the one reserved, as long as it has similar characteristics. If you do not agree with the assigned apartment, you can cancel your reservation and obtain a refund of the amount you have paid, except for what corresponds to the rental period that you have already enjoyed. In these cases, Costa Activa Rentals will not assume any responsibility.

 

5) Responsibility

 

Use of the apartment. By making a reservation on this website, the client and his companions agree to make appropriate use of the rented apartment, exempting Costa Activa Rentals from any liability for any damages that this use could cause.

 

Valuable items. Costa Activa Rentals is not responsible for valuables that the client brings and/or deposits in the apartment

 

Damages caused. The client will be responsible for the damages caused to the floor, except for what refers to the normal wear and tear caused by the daily use of the floor. In the event of losing the keys, you must pay the costs derived from making copies and/or changing the lock (keys €20; lock change €200; loss of magnetic parking keys €8; loss of magnetic pool key €20).

 

6) Other conditions

 

Pets. Animals are not allowed in the apartments.

 

No smoking. Smoking is not allowed in the apartments, except on balconies, terraces, patios and gardens. In case of breaching this rule, a fine of up to 200 euros will be imposed to cover the costs of cleaning upholstery, curtains, possible burns on furniture and bedspreads.

 

Specific rules of each apartment. It is important to respect the rest of the neighbours, for which we ask our guests not to carry out noisy activities, especially between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. It is also important to avoid all those actions that may disturb the neighbours, such as music that is too loud, noise, etc. Parties and the entry of people not staying in the house are prohibited to respect the rest of the neighbours. It is essential to make good use of the common areas or common elements of the building where the tourist-use home is located, as well as to behave civically both in the tourist-use home and in the building in which it is integrated.

 

Serious and/or repeated breach by the client of the previously established conditions will grant Costa Activa Rentals the right to demand the immediate abandonment of the apartment, without any compensation.

 

Acceptance. Booking an apartment with Costa Activa Rentals implies acceptance of these general conditions, as well as the jurisdiction and competence of the courts and tribunals of Benidorm.

 

Personal information. In compliance with article 5, section 1.a), of Organic Law 15/1999, on the Protection of Personal Data, we inform the client that the personal data provided to us will be incorporated into a file duly registered in the Registry established for this purpose by the Data Protection Agency, and will serve for the effective provision of the services you have contracted. Only those employees and suppliers who must know such data in order to provide said services will have access to them. In any case, the client can exercise the rights of access, opposition, rectification and cancellation provided for in the aforementioned Law.

 

The entrance to our apartments is made from 16:00 Hrs. If you want to enter the apartment before the established time, please let us know in order to organize, if possible, an early check-in.

The apartments must be vacated for cleaning by 10:00 a.m. at the latest. If you wish to leave the apartment between 10:00 and 18:00, please let us know in order to organize it, if possible.
